All of my little eBay artworks mailed this morning, though I found out by way of kkitten42 that it takes $1.13 in postage to use those CD mailers I like on the ACEOs. I'm going to have to either throw in the thirteen cents as lagniappe or raise USA shipping to $1.50 to cover the mailer and added postage -- still, the mailers are pretty cool and I have lots ( Read more... )

I didn't do a new artwork today. Instead, I took a long nap, got up, and started cutting mats. I'd work on one and stop and rest, work on the next and rest and so on, think it was three or four sessions total. I was trying to post my progress, 10,181 words, on the NaNoWriMo site when I started puttering with Portrait with Lorikeet and Frangipani again as the site crashed and crashed again. Grrr. Sloooow site, I should get back to writing. But I finished the lorikeet's head and beak and eye and got them really well. So here's more progress on the art! ( Read more... )

I did get words in last night, but not yet today. Maybe I'm just not an early in the day writer this month. I went back to Portrait with Lorikeet and Frangipani and got her hair in, plus fixed the problem that on the underpainting she was wearing an Invisibility Cloak under that bird.
